There aren’t enough wagon based panel vans around.

It’s a shame they stopped with the Astra J, the Opel Combo isn’t quite the same.

I have to admit I didn’t see many of these. Which is probably why they stopped building them. I assume they’re better to drive than a normal van, but I assume costs and practicality are all worse.

I didn’t even know they went up to Astra G. I think the newest Opel panel van I’ve seen was Kadett E.

I wish modern panel vans were more prevalent.

Border line.

Mini Clubvan (based on the Clubman, so technically based on an estate).

I think the Astravan and the Clubvan were the last proper vans based of estates. Shame really, I’ve started looking out for them, and I see a ton of them.

Kinja'd!!!

I think it looks quite lazy when they don’t bother to remove the doors, but I can see the appeal.

I am questioning the practicality, but it looks good!

Saw an Astra G van yesterday. Although I’ve probably seen one before, I’ve never really thought about reading up on them before now. They were never sold in Norway though.

They remind me more of a van based on a people mover, like the Volkswagen Caddy is based on the Touran:

I see quite a few. Most of them are owned by the local NAPA auto parts store for parts delivery.

This is the official car of that one pizza guy that will probably T-bone you at an intersection because he’s not paying attention.

Forget work vans - the world needs more custom van wagons:

I also didn’t know until recently, but they seem to sell them exclusively in Austria along with a just as lazy Sandero van. I know they don’t make a one, but it needs to be a 3 door to be a supermini van!

Kinja'd!!!

You can still buy the old one as a Lada in Russia!
